Prospective residents must supply the facility with signed physicians orders that state “Admit to our facility” and include all medications, labs, therapies, and treatments that may be required. The physician must also supply us with a History and Physical from within the past year as well as a chest x-ray from the past thirty days. Once this information is obtained the Director of Patient Services will have an interdisciplinary “Admission Meeting” to make sure that this facility can meet your loved one’s needs.
The Director of Patient Services will then notify the family of when to bring their loved one into the facility. On arrival the Director of Patient Services will take the new resident to their room, and the nursing staff will perform a nursing assessment. The Director of Patient Services will then take the responsible party to complete admission paperwork.
On the following Monday after admission you will be assigned a time for a “Care Plan Meeting”. It’s at that time you will meet the interdisciplinary staff that is providing care to your loved ones.
Activities
WyndRidge prides itself on the extensive activities and services it provides. Our residents love to use the basketball hoop and putting green we have outside as well as the private gardening area available for use.
